Grace Lee is a fourth year clinical psychology Ph.D. student working with Dr. Susan White in the Clinical Child concentration at The University of Alabama. She grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina; earned her B.S. in Psychology from Davidson College; and spent two years working as a Research Assistant at UNC Chapel Hill before beginning her doctoral program. Her research focuses primarily on measurement and treatment of social impairment in youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other neurodevelopmental disorders. She is particularly interested in psychosocial interventions integrating creative and/or performance-based skills (music, art, etc.) and has spent the majority of her time as a graduate student working on an NIH-funded multisite randomized controlled trial implementing a musical theater-based therapy program for youth with ASD. In her free time, she enjoys trying new recipes, playing piano, traveling, and hot yoga.
