Erin Murray graduated from Lafayette College in 2019 with a BS in neuroscience. Upon graduating, she began a postbaccalaureate fellowship at the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism in Dr. Veronica Alvarez’s Laboratory on the Neurobiology of Compulsive Behavior. Her main project examined the role of dopamine D2 receptors expressed in specific neuronal subpopulations within the basal ganglia in response to cocaine and cocaine taking behavior. She is currently a rising 2nd year PhD student at The University of Rochester.
