Erica is a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology at Yale University. She earned her bachelor's in psychology from Cornell University, with minors in cognitive science and music. Erica's research examines the behavioral and neurobiological underpinnings of how people evaluate social information, and how these processes are impacted by psychopathology. Clinically she is interested in psychotherapeutic interventions for people with life-altering medical illnesses. Erica grew up in New Jersey, right outside NYC, and is a proud daughter of Taiwanese immigrants. She is deeply invested in helping demystify the grad school process for underrepresented and first-generation applicants. Outside of the lab and clinic, Erica enjoys yoga and quality time with cats, and she plays huge bell tower instruments called the carillon and the chime.
