Eric is a PhD student in the joint biomedical engineering program at Georgia Tech and Emory University, where he works in the neurosurgery department designing computational algorithms to improve deep brain stimulation treatments for epilepsy. In the future, he wants to keep doing research that translates developments in computational neuroscience and machine learning into key medical and societal advancements in neurotechnology. In his spare time, he enjoys playing piano and writing music.
