Emma is a Cognitive Psychology PhD student at the University of Chicago looking at the buildup and breakdown of our visual memory representations and how what we remember is dependent on mental imagery abilities. She uses a wide range of methods to investigate these questions, including EEG, fMRI, and drawing. Before attending Chicago, she graduated from the Ohio State University and did postbac research at Vanderbilt University for two years. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing video games, and going on adventures in nature.
