Emma Lazaroff is a cognitive developmental scientist who is currently part of the Research and Measurement team at Amplify, where she provides research-based guidance to inform educational assessment development. Prior to this, she worked on the Efficacy Research and Learning Sciences teams at Age of Learning and received her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2022. Emma's doctoral research focused on ways to leverage cognitive supports, particularly analogies and language, to improve children's STEM learning and transfer. In her free time she likes listening to cumbia, cooking and trying new foods, and lifting weights.
