Elizabeth is a 4th year PhD student working with Dr. Scott Leiser at the University of Michigan. She completed undergraduate degrees in Neuroscience and Biochemistry at the University of Minnesota, where she became interested in research. Currently, she is working on two main projects. The first project looks at how perception of the environment regulates aging, and the second project focuses on how metabolic change influences behavior. Outside of lab, Elizabeth is an avid runner and hiker. At home, she enjoys drawing and spending time with her husband and two cats.
