Ege Otenen is a Ph.D. student in the Cognitive Science and Informatics - Complex Networks and Systems dual degree program at Indiana University, Bloomington. She received her M.Sc. in Cognitive Psychology from Sabanci University and her B.Sc. in psychology from Middle East Technical University. Her research interests lie in computational social science, memory, language, and narratives. Through the use of computational methods, she aims to gain a deeper understanding of how individuals remember and narrate their memories. Specifically, she is interested in exploring the role of idiosyncratic features in these mental representations.
