Deepika Bajaj is a second year student in the clinical psychology program at the University of Calgary. After receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of British Columbia, she conducted research at Simon Fraser University, BC Children’s Hospital, and worked with the Provincial Health Services Authority. She was a recipient of the Alberta Gambling Research Institute graduate scholarship to investigate eating pathology, gambling addiction, and emotion regulation in men. She also conducts research on evidence-based psychological interventions, eating pathology across the life-span, and body image. Deepika is passionate about providing mentorship to other first-generation and underrepresented students.
