Courtney is a Ph.D. student in the Chemistry Ph.D. program at Duke University and a member and recipient of the Pharmacological Sciences Training Program (PSTP). Courtney investigates the design and fabrication of drug delivery materials for pain management and antibiotic delivery using a polymeric system. She graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Chemistry and a B.A. in Music from Converse College (2021) with Honors in Chemistry. Her undergraduate research investigated monomer and polymer synthesis through ring-opening metathesis polymerization and ring-opening metathesis cross metathesis. Outside the lab, Courtney likes to hike, bake, explore digital and film photography, and spend time with her two cats.
