Carolina graduated with her Dual Bachelor's in Psychology and Cognitive Science from the University of Virginia. After graduating, she worked as the Research and Clinic Coordinator at the Eating Disorders Program at the University of Chicago for three years. She is currently starting her 1st year in a PhD program in Clinical Psychology at Michigan State University. Her research focuses on studying disordered eating in adolescent populations, and what role interpersonal experiences within and outside of the family play in development of disordered eating. In her spare time, watercolor painting and baking.
