Cambria is a PhD student in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Chicago. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2019 with a B.A. in Biological Basis of Behavior, and then worked for two years as a post-baccalaureate research fellow at the National Institute of Mental Health. As a graduate student in the Brain Bridge Lab, Cambria studies memorability, or why people consistently remember and forget the same images. She is currently using behavioral and neuroimaging approaches to investigate this property across different sensory modalities. Outside of the lab, she enjoys crafting, trying new recipes, and hitting Chicago’s beaches.
