Caleb Lareau is currently a Stanford Science Fellow at the Stanford University School of Medicine in Palo Alto, CA. Caleb Grew up in rural Oklahoma where he discovered his passion for research and biological research. He went on to complete his undergraduate education in Biochemistry and Mathematics at the University of Tulsa and his PhD in the Division of Medical Sciences at Harvard University. His research concerns the development and application of new genome sequencing technologies to understand conditions like cancer and mitochondrial disease. In his free time, you’ll find him on a hike in the San Francisco Bay Area or playing with his two cats, Boo and Nala.
