Ashley (she/her) is Ph.D. student at the University of Pennsylvania specializing in microbiology in the Cell and Molecular Biology (CAMB) graduate group. She is a member of the Zackular lab at CHOP which investigates the interplay between C. difficile, gut microbiota, and the host. Ashley graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2022 with a B.S. in Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics. In addition to her academic research lab experience, Ashley has worked at the NIH, a global research nonprofit, and a pharmaceutical company. Alongside science, she is passionate about art, cooking and baking, and rock music. Ashley is excited to help aspiring graduate students achieve their goals!
