Anna Marie Ortiz (B.A. Franciscan University of Steubenville) is a 5th-year doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at the University of Kentucky, where her research and clinical work focuses on eating disorders. Anna Marie is interested in investigating transdiagnostic risk factors involved in the development and maintenance of eating disorders. In particular, she studies the influence of cognitive, biological, and affective processes, such as pubertal onset, learned expectancies, and personality factors. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, playing basketball, and traveling. Having felt confused and overwhelmed by the application process herself, she is looking forward to helping others navigate the application process!
