Amber Hopkins is a PhD student in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of California—Los Angeles. Raised in Hawai’i, she moved to California for her undergraduate education in Psychology and Philosophy at Chapman University. After her undergraduate, she completed a two-year post-baccalaureate research assistantship in cognitive neuroscience with the Interdisciplinary Institute for Brain and Behavioral Sciences at Chapman to acquire research experience before applying to graduate school.
