Amanda is a third-year graduate student specializing in Learning Sciences at the University of Delaware. She received her B.A. in Psychology and Interdisciplinary Studies from Florida International University, where she researched the perceptual, cognitive, and social development of infants and young children under the guidance of Dr. Lorraine E. Bahrick. Currently, Amanda is working under the mentorship of Dr. Roberta Michnick Golinkoff, and her research explores young children’s engagement and learning from shared book reading and digital media. She is also interested in making STEM education more accessible to young children, as well as disseminating research to broad populations.
