Aksheya is a doctoral student in the clinical psychology program at Michigan State University. Her research focus is on the implementation of evidence-based practices for children on the autism spectrum receiving services in community-based settings. Additionally, Aksheya’s clinical training includes working with children with autism, anxiety, depression, and general behavioral concerns. Aksheya came to the U.S. as an international student in 2010. Over the past 10 years, Aksheya has benefited greatly from excellent mentorship and support, both while earning her B.A. and then M.A. in Psychology, and during the application process for her doctoral program. Aksheya is passionate about providing mentorship to the next generation of doctoral students!
