Tina is currently a PhD student in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She earned her B.A. in Environmental Studies and Biology at Middlebury College, Vermont, in 2023. Under the mentorship of Joanna Kelley, Tina is currently studying adaptation to extreme environments in polar fishes and is hoping to understand how they might be impacted by climate change. Tina is passionate about mentoring and is excited to work with mentors and mentees within the Project SHORT community. Outside of the lab, she enjoys baking, photography, and traveling to the East Coast.
