Limi Sharif is a first-generation anesthesiology resident at the University of Michigan and a former Co-director of Prehealth mentorship at Project SHORT. As someone who has worked with and benefitted from working closely with her own mentors, she is passionate about providing opportunities for mentorship to others, particularly for those who may not otherwise have access to affordable mentorship resources. She has previously worked with individuals across the pipeline into medicine, from middle schoolers to college students and recognizes that early exposure to medical careers, especially for those who may not have been exposed to those career paths previously, is an important element of ensuring that all individuals recognize that medicine can be a viable career option for anyone. In her free time, she enjoys coffee shop hopping and getting outdoors for a good hike.
