Kijung is an MD-PhD student at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Prior to medical school, Kijung received his Bachelor's degree from Northwestern University. His research interests are in translating biomaterials for drug delivery from research to bedside and developing next-generation immunotherapies. He hopes to aid Project SHORT's mission in closing the socioeconomic gap in STEM training.
